Social Technologies (“SoTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates thesocialtech.net and provides marketing technology services including AI voice agents, websites, SEO, paid advertising, CRM automation, and integrations to small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website, submitting a form, or communicating with us by phone or text, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically as you use the site, and information passed to us by trusted third-party services.
- Information you submit through forms. Our contact form, questionnaire modal, newsletter signup, and lead-magnet downloads collect fields such as name, email address, phone number, company name, service of interest, and free-form messages.
- Information you provide on phone calls. When you speak with our AI voice agent or a team member, we record the conversation (with notice) and store the transcript along with any phone number, name, business details, and consent statements you share.
- Payment and contracting data. For clients moving through our proposal-to-payment flow at
/close, we process billing details through Stripe and record invoice and signature data in our CRM. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. - Automatically collected technical data. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard server and analytics data.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” below.
2. Text Messaging (SMS) and Phone Calls
Social Technologies sends transactional SMS messages and places phone calls to recipients who have provided verbal consent during a recorded phone call with our AI voice agent, or who have submitted a form on this website that included their phone number along with a clear disclosure of the contact methods we use.
- How we collect phone numbers. Phone numbers are captured verbally during recorded calls with our AI voice agent, or through web forms on this site where the user types their number and submits it. Numbers and the related consent record are stored in our CRM, GoHighLevel.
- Types of messages we send. Booking confirmations, appointment reminders, information you requested about our AI voice agent services, and replies to inbound support questions. These are transactional and conversational in nature and are tied to the inquiry or relationship you initiated.
- Message frequency. Frequency varies based on the context of each conversation — for example, a single booking confirmation, a short series of appointment reminders, or back-and-forth replies during an active support thread.
- Carrier fees. Standard message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier sets those rates, not SoTech.
- Opt-out and help. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for help. After STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages from that number.
- No sale or sharing of mobile data. We do not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent information with any third party for that party’s marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent information is used only to deliver the messages and calls you agreed to receive from Social Technologies.
- Questions about SMS or this policy. Contact maisum@thesocialtech.net or call (239) 376-8324.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through forms or phone calls.
- Send the transactional SMS and place the phone calls described in Section 2.
- Deliver, support, invoice, and improve the marketing technology services we provide to clients.
- Operate our CRM and sales pipeline, including booking appointments and confirming meetings.
- Send newsletters and educational content if you opted into that list (separate from SMS opt-in).
- Measure how the website is used so we can improve content and performance.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with our legal and tax obligations.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate reliably and to understand how visitors interact with our pages.
- Google Tag Manager (GTM). We load Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-PKMSC6R8) on our production domains so we can manage analytics tags in one place.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Configured through GTM. GA4 records page views, form submissions, and a small number of custom events (newsletter signup, contact form submission, location and industry page views) so we can understand which pages drive inquiries. GA4 uses cookies and an anonymized client identifier.
- First-party functional storage. We use
localStorage to remember small amounts of state, such as whether you have already seen an email capture prompt, so we do not show it to the same visitor repeatedly.
Most browsers let you block cookies, clear cookies, or warn you before a cookie is set. Disabling cookies may affect how the site functions.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate the business. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). Our CRM. Stores leads, contacts, opportunities, appointments, SMS and call records, consent records, and invoices.
- Twilio. Sends and receives SMS and powers the phone numbers used by our AI voice agent. Twilio processes the message content, sender/recipient phone numbers, and delivery metadata.
- Stripe. Processes payments for clients in the proposal-to-payment flow. Stripe handles all sensitive card data directly.
- Supabase. Provides database and authentication infrastructure for parts of our site and internal tools.
- Resend. Sends transactional emails such as payment receipts and form confirmations.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Tag management and aggregated analytics.
- Vercel. Hosting, edge delivery, and server logging for this website.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information that we no longer need to retain.
- Opt out of SMS by replying STOP, as described in Section 2.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email.
To exercise any of these rights, email maisum@thesocialtech.net. We will verify your request before acting on it.
7. Data Retention
We keep contact records, conversation history, consent records, and invoice data for as long as we have an active business relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our tax, legal, and accounting obligations. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to the defaults of our analytics provider. You can request earlier deletion at any time as described under “Your Rights.”
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adult decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the site or by direct contact where appropriate.
